What services do you offer?
Junk removal and demolition: property cleanouts, furniture and appliance removal, heavy item hauling, storage unit and garbage can cleanouts, commercial junk removal, dumpster rental, and full-service demolition of houses, barns, sheds and mobile homes.
What areas do you serve?
We work out of Clemmons, NC and cover Forsyth, Davie, Guilford, Yadkin, Surry, Stokes, Davidson and Rowan Counties. If you are just outside that, call anyway and we will tell you straight.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. American Junk Removal Co. is a fully licensed and insured North Carolina LLC.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing is based on how much space your junk takes up in the truck and how far we travel. You get a free, firm quote before any work starts, and the price does not change once we begin.
How fast can you come out?
Often the same or next day. Tell us what you have and where it is, and we will give you the earliest slot we can. Cancellations open up regularly, so it is worth asking.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we can reach the items, we can do the job while you are at work. We text you before we arrive and send a photo when the space is clear.
Do you remove hazardous materials?
No. We do not haul paint, chemicals, asbestos, fuel or other hazardous materials. Nearly everything else is fair game.
What happens to my stuff?
Anything usable is donated, including through Habitat ReStore. Metal and other recyclables are separated out. Only what is left goes to the landfill.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. Senior citizens, veterans and active military get a discount. Mention it when you call.
What is the difference between a cleanout and demolition?
A cleanout removes what is inside or around a property: furniture, boxes, appliances, debris. Demolition takes down the structure itself, such as a shed, barn, mobile home or house, and hauls the material away.
